I have over 20 years experience in bicycle repair, servicing and maintenance. I have worked on bikes ranging from commuters to tourers, children’s bikes through to elite and professional race bikes. Most of my time as a bicycle mechanic has been spent in a retail environment here in Canberra. I was also fortunate to have spent a few years as the AIS Road and Mountain Bike Mechanics under coaches Heiko Salzwedel and Damian Grundy respectively.
I have built a sound knowledge of the humble bicycle over my years as a bicycle mechanic. From tuning gears to building wheels, servicing shocks right through to bare frame rebuilds, I apply a methodical and precise work ethic to every job I take on. So, whether you are riding the latest electronic Di2 components or prefer the ride of a single geared bike, I have something to offer.
Since a child I have been on two wheels, initially for the freedom to explore the local suburbs, and later when representing Australia in Cross Country Mountain Biking, the ability to explore Australia and the World. Nowadays my riding is at a more relaxed pace, commuting the paths and roads of Canberra or riding local trails with friends.
